The purpose of this action is to provide administrative support and facilitation services to the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB). The HAB, a Federal Advisory committee, advises the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and plays a key role in producing meaningful and effective involvement on cleanup issues. The HAB operates using committees, task forces and a consensus to address major Hanford policy issues, seeks administrative services support for the Board to coordinate, schedule and plan meeting activities, and various committee conferences. Programmatic direction and supervision will be provided by the board chairperson. The contract period of performance will be for one (1) year with three (3) one (1) year options to start on or about October 1, 1997. The draft RFP was issued on June 14, 1996, and comments were received through June 27, 1996. All pertinent issues received have been addressed in the final RFP.
