(508) 233-4532 (Site Code DAAK60) The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command
(SSCOM), Natick, MA, is conducting MARKET RESEARCH to identify sources
who are capable of, and interested in, assisting in the transition of
the Integrated Materiel Management (IMM) functions for soldier support
system items, e.g. aerial-delivery systems, field equipment and
shelters, from the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, MO,
to SSCOM. The transition of IMM functions includes, but is not limited
to, Major and Secondary Item (spares and repair parts) Management,
Provisioning and Cataloging, Maintenance Engineering, Technical
Publication Management, Configuration Management and Integrated
Logistic Support. Additionally, this effort will include assistance in
the transitional planning, implementation and start-up operation of
the Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS) and Related Information
Systems, to include training, bridging and unique programs (Unique
program: Any program or application which is connected to CCSS but not
part of the standard system portfolio of computer programs, could be
a commodity, process or information specific program or application.)
Respondents must submit within 14 days following publication of this
synopsis acknowledgment of their interest in the aforementioned effort.
Responses should include a concept paper, capabilities summary and/or
resume of previous/current experience in this area or type of
operation. In addition, if applicable, identification as a small, woman
owned, or socially and economically disadvantaged business is
