Y -- COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION OF INTERSECTION WITH UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS (WATER & STORM SEWER), AT FORMER LOWRY AIR FORCE BASE, DENVER, CO Sol IFB #10-6THW-QUEB Due 082696 POC Ms. Anne Anderson, Procurement Program Manager, (303) 343-0276 x204 The Lowry Economic Redevelopment Authority (LRA) is soliciting bids to construct a complete concrete intersection, including utility improvements (water and storm). Includes site work, grading, curb & gutter with backfill, concrete pavement, traffic signal, and landscaping. Location is the former Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, Colorado. Invitation for Bids Number IFB#10-6THW-QUEB is for the Lowry Eda Infrastructure Project, 6th Avenue & Quebec Intersection Package. This project will be partially funded with federal funds through the Economic Development Administration, U.S. Dept. of Commerce (EDA Project No. 05-49-02715), and will be subject to all Federal requirements and regulations. The estimated price range of construction for this phase of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The time for completion of all work is ninety (90) calendar days after official Notice to Proceed. Bid package (IFB) will be available on or about 08/06/96, with the closing date as stated in the IFB. All work on water line(s) must be performed by a contractor pre-qualified with the Denver Water Board. All qualified responsible sources, who are interested and are in a position to satisfy the above requirements, must submit a written request for the IFB to the LRA's Procurement Program Manager at the above address, or fax requests to (303) 343-9135. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Construction drawings and specifications will be available at the LRA offices at the above address; and at the Rocky Mountain Construction ``Plan Room'' located at 2403 Champa Street, Denver, CO 80205. A non-refundable bid document fee of $100.00 is required for each set of documents desired. Checks should be made payable to Lowry Redevelopment Authority. All prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid conference and site inspection visit scheduled for 9:00 a.m. 08/16/96 at the LRA offices. This procurement is not a set-aside. (201)
