Description of Work: Furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to upgrade airfield operational systems at Lawson Army Airfield, Fort Benning, Georgia. Project scope includes replacing existing airfield lighting power supply equipment, including generator and transfer switch; installing new computerized airfield lighting control system; installing new underground fiber optic and copper control cables; replacing existing rotating beacon and associated tower; upgrading approach lighting systems; replace runway edge, end, and threshold lighting; replacing taxiway edge lighting; replacing airfield signage. Systems replacement includes demolition of existing systems, removal and disposal of all debris and materials, and grading and compacting of areas after systems replacement. Removal and disposal of PCB's and contaminated equipment in lighting vault is possible. Network Analysis System will be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
