Waggoner, 504-734-4444 The requirement is for two (2) line items. Line Item 1 is for the design, fabrication and construction of two covered storage areas and modifications to two roll up doors. Line Item 2 is for construction of a concrete floodwall around the Permanent Facility Addition Building. The floodwall shall have an inverted ``T'' shape and shall enclose an area of approximately 100' by 70'. The height of the floodwall is approximately 3 feet. The finished construction shall include three metal hinged pedestrian floodgates and two concrete sumps with sump pumps with required pumps, motor piping, and electrical connections to dispose of water accumulation on the inside of the floodwall. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This modification cancels Solicitation Number DE-FB96-96P030037 and consolidates the scope of work into this procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 5, 1996. A non-refundable deposit of $45.00 per set of plans and specifications is required. Checks should be payable to the U.S. Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve Project Management Office.
