The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD proposes to procure on a firm-fixed price basis using simplified acquisition procedures, 20 each, 8-Word Differential Analog Muxs which includes the following items: MMSC-800-150 Master Unit, MMSC-800-151 Remote Unit, MPBM-1553-103 Bus Monitor, AM-802 Analog Multiplexer, CE-801 Convolutional Encoder, DM-801 Digital Multiplexer, SC-804 Signal Conditioner, and TCR 801/802 Time Code Reader. The proposed contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis with the Aydin Vector Division, 47 Friends Lane, Newtown, PA 18940-0328 since both mechanical and electrical properties must be identical to the Aydin Vector, MMSC series PCM encoders for existing instrumentation circuitry to be applicable. All items shall be delivered on or before 31 Jan. 1997. Earlier delivery is acceptable and desirable at no additional cost to the Government. Delivery shall be made F.O.B. destination to Receiving Officer, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD 20670-5304. Inspection and acceptance will be made at destination. (0206)
