Scott Palmer, PH: 202/267-2489. The Coast Guard has a requirement for
overhead transparencies. The transparencies are for the Auxiliary
Specialty Course AUXNAV and the Auxiliary Specialty Course AUXSAR. They
shall be packaged in sets of 100 for a total of 285 sets for each
course. Special printing equipment for use on clear mylar produces a
finished product overhead transparency product which has clean cut
lines, non bleeding colors, and non-fading (oxidizing) inks. These
products are printed (not laser printed) on one side, size 8 1/2 inches
x 11 inches, .007 mil thickness, helvetica style letters, press:
2/0-PMS 286 Blue, PMS 334 dark green, and PMS 172 warm red, and PMS
012c pantone yellow. Mechanicals are furnished for proofing. Blueline
proofs are collated into sets for final reproduction/printing review.
Finished product has backing sheets and overheads are inserted into #28
white booklet envelopes printed pantone red ink PMS806+``Auxiliary

Transparency Masters, 1996 Edition, U.S. Coast Guard Property.'' The
U.S. Coast Guard intends to issue an Invitation For Bid--Commercial
Item (IFB) solicitation for this requirement on or about July 19, 1996.
The period of performance will be 90 days after contract award. Firms
interested should submit a printed transparency that demonstrates the
specifications listed above with their IFB. The Government will not pay
for any materials submitted in response to this synopsis. All

responses should be submitted within 15 days after publication of this
notice. Telegraph and telephone responses will not be accepted. For

available which enables firms to obtain bid, payment, and performance
bonds, with a guarantee up to 80 percent against losses. The short term
