Program is hosting an Industry Conference on 21 August 1996 through 23
August 1996, for the purpose of providing and update on a number of
its manufacturing technology programs. The primary emphasis will be on
the Manufacturing Affordability Development Program (MADP), presenting
the detailed findings and conclusions resulting from this year-long
study of the aerospace industry. This project, completed in April 1996,
has resulted in the determination of the current state of this
industry, as well as the identification of ''pockets'' of success which
are believed to demonstrate the affordability potential for the
industry as a whole. In addition, an update on a number of additional
JSF manufacturing technology initiatives will be included. The
conference will conclude with a forum providing the industry with an
opportunity to identify future related investment opportunities. The
conference will be located at Doubletree Grand Hotel, 7901 24th Avenue
South, Bloomington, MN. The Group Rate cutoff date will expire on 29
