The Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, Colorado, is soliciting for dietician services for federal prisoners. Services include examination, evaluation and recommendation of diets which provide for the nutritional needs of inmates with medical conditions and in the general population. Contract will also serve on the Health Services Diet Committee and counsel inmates on nutritional requirements. The contractor must have degree in nutrition or a related field and be registered as a dietician in at least one state of the United States. Services will be provided at the Federal Correctional Complex in Florence, Colorado, which includes the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp, United States Penitentiary, and Administrative Maximum Penitentiary. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantity for each 12 month period of the contract is 28 eight-hour sessions per year. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid which will be considered for award.
