This is a second announcement. The U.S. Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command, U.S. Army Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ will sponsor an ``Information Days For Industry'' (Technology Briefings/Facility Tours) on 13-14 August 1996 at the Picatinny Arsenal Command Conference Center, Bldg. #1, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The conference is hosted by the U.S. Army Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center with assistance from the Picatinny Chapter of the American Defense Preparedness Center. The purpose of the conference is to provide attendees with an overview and update of our major technology programs, addressing those areas with opportunities for our industry partners. Day one will consist of specific briefings that will present our military technology base and development programs and associated acquisition opportunities. Also, day one will address what we refer to as ``dual use'' opportunities where we are looking for teaming arrangements to jointly develop technologies that have commercial, as well as military applications. Finally, day one will provide a lead-in to day two where you will see ARDEC's unique state-of-the-art engineering and laboratory facilities which are available for use. Day two will highlight our facilities and capabilities through prearranged on-site tours and demonstration.
