Y -- CONSTRUCT YOUTH CENTER AT BEALE AFB SOL F04666-96-B0017. Contact Point, Mrs Gina Martin, 916/634-3309, Contracting Officer, Larry Fox, 916/634-3309. Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and operations as required to construct a new Youth Center. Project includes site, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and related work. Bid additives include porches, trellis, irrigated soccer field and additional parking. Provide complete architecture, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems. The building shall have slab on grade, steel structure, stucco walls, sloped standing seam metal roof and interior finishes. Provide all new walls, ceilings, windows, doors, hardware, trim, finishes, mechanical and plumbing, electrical systems including panels, electrical service, power, lighting, telephones and fire detection and alarm systems. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement will be issued UNRESTRICTED. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 19 Aug 96. Plans and specifications will be furnished upon a written request on standard size stationary ONLY. Each request shall contain a money order, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $60.00. Cash and/or personal/company checks are not acceptable. Refunds will be issued only if the project is canceled and not re-solicited. Copies of plans and specifications will be provided to all non-profit Builders Exchanges who request a package in writing at no charge. Plans and specifications will be available for public review, free of charge at the 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB CA. Bidders Mailing Lists will be distributed by mail following receipt of a written request. Under no circumstances will we fax the bidders mailing list. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community program.
