This work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor,
material, equipment and supervision to perform the following work:
Demolition, removal and disposal of asbestos cement siding material
located throughout the exterior walls existinggarages; complete
demolition (including concrete footing and slabss), removal and
disposal of existing one (1), two (2) and four (4) wooden framed car
garages; construction of wood frame car garages to include new concrete
slabs and footing, solid vinylsiding, asphalt shingles, steel
residential garage doors; and all incidental related work. Tentative
issue date of solicitation is 01 August 1996, Bid opening date of 24
September 1996 is approximate. The estimated cost range for this
project isbetween $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. SIC Code is 1521.
The related small business standard is $17,000,000.00. Period of
performance is 365 calendar days. The resulting contract will be a firm
fixed price contract. This procurement solicitationwill be issued as
full and open competition (unrestricted). Therefore, replies are
