The Missouri National Guard desires a firm fixed price construction type contract for the removal and replacement of existing roof with cold process modified roofing system, remove/replace existing insulation, expansion joints, roof edging, wood nailer and related flashings. Remove/replace metal roof deck as specified. Required work on existing 3 ply asphalt roofs consists of the removal of roof attached structures and replacement with lie 3 ply roof system and metal decking to match existing. Construction location is Rosecrans Memorial Airport, St. Joseph, Missouri. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials for the repair/replacement of the roof at Building 1. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. The performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. Estimated bid opening date is September 12, 1996. There is a $20.00 non refundable deposit per set of specifications and drawings. The non refundable deposits must be in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or money order made payable to the U.S. Treasury. Company and personal checks will not be accepted.
