The work consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct fences of various kinds at various locations at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. All work shall be done in accordance with the Statement of Work. The principal items of work shall include the following: Remove existing chain-link and wooden fencing, including post and gates. Install cedar fencing, install steel fencing, install chain-link fencing. Install post and gates as required made of wood, steel or chain-link. Post are to be set in concrete. Minor tree and shrub trimming, removal of small trees not exceeding one (1) foot in diameter in support of fence work in the housing areas. Minor earthwork, demolition of small concrete pads, working in the vacinity of houses, streets, sidewalks and other obstacles, with hand tools. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Contract performance will be one year from the date of award, and may be renewed for one additional option year.
