The US Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the expansion of an existing Post Office located at 4000 Leap Rd. in Hilliard OH. The work includes but is not limited to, site work, structures, roofing, finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related work to provide an approximate 5,000 Sq. Ft. addition to the existing facility. The estimated price range is between $300,000.00 and $600,000.00 with completion within 180 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. To be considered responsive the contractor/proposer must have a minimum of 5 years as a general contractor and previous experience on similar projects. Other requirements include the following: (1) Successful completion and favorable references for similar projects; (2) Financial stability. The proposals will be evaluated in the areas listed in descending order of importance: (1) cost/price, (2) previous experience, (3) references, and (4) financial stability. The award will be made on the offer determined to be in the best interest of the Postal Service. The project will be bid on the basis of a single prime contract.
