The new system shall be a loop feed in lieu of the existing radial feed. All existing manholes, handholes and ductbankshall be used where possible. Tentative issue date of solicitation is 01 August 1996. Bid opening date of 24 September 1996 is approximate. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. SIC Code is 1731. Therelated small business standard is $7,000,000.00. Period of performance is 450 calendar days. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. This procurement solicitation will be issued as full and open competition (unrestricted).Therefore, replies are requested from all business concerns.
