The work includes removal of an existing 362 ton (capacity) centrifugal chiller, its housekeeping pad, and replacing it with a new 360 nominal ton capacity absorption chiller and housekeeping pad. Modifications to the existing chilled water, condenser water, steam, and condensate piping systems along with modifications to the electrical power and controls systems and incidental related work will be required. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 14AUG96 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 120 calendar days.
