The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the following work: Replace miscellaneous gas lines at Custer Hill, Fort Riley, Kansas. The work shall consist of the construction of approximately 3,866 linear feet of gas lines with sizes ranging from 1 1/4 inch to 6 inch diameters, 3 entrance connections; 480 linear feet of tracer wire on existing P.E. pipe; demolition of structure and pressure regulator stations; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, curb and guttering and asphalt pavement, seeding; abandonment and removal of existing gas lines; and miscellaneous ancillary improvements. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 13 August 1996, and will open on or about 13 September 1996. The estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 1623. The Small Business size standard for this project is $17.0M annual receipts.
