Presolicitation Notice. Eglin AFB has a requirement to Replace HVAC and Electrical Systems, Bldg. 103, Eglin AFB, FL. The work will consist of removing hot water boilers, hot water piping, coils, and related equipment, ductwork with registers, grilles, etc., cooling towers, window air conditioners, condensing units, and miscellaneous related items. A portion of the exterior electrical service to the building is to be removed, including transformer, wireway, various switches and conduits, and miscellaneous related items. New heat pump units, ductwork, registers, grilles, controls, etc. are to be furnished and installed. New electrical service to the building is to be provided where the existing was removed. The project will also include minor carpentry, installation of new ceilings, installation of new conduits for communication, and related work. Contract will be for a period of 150 calendar days. Bid opening of 16 Aug 96 is only an estimated date. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
