A-Work shall include design, fabrication, and installation of new exhaust stacks for the new booths. B-Conversion of two(2) existing small parts water fall type paint booths to dry filter type paint booths. C-Contractor shall install and test all equipment and dry filter components. Delivery: 120 ARO 8ea. Destn: Hill Air Force Base, Ut 84056-5000. The approximate issue/response date will be 14 Aug 96. The anticipated award date will be 04 Sep 96. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Request for copies of solicitations must reference the entire solicitation number, including purchasing office identification number. This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent small business set aside, the size standard for which is 500 employees. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
