Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for an RF power
supply, used to heat a 2-1/2'' OD x 1'' thick molybdenum susceptor in
a 4'' diamaeter quartz reactor, to 800 degrees Celcius. The power
supply shall have an output of 5 kW with an operating frequency tunable
from 50-450 kHz, and DC voltage regulation to regulate the DC output to
+/- 0.5% with a 10% fluctuation in incomming AC power line. The input
shall be 220 or 440 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase. The power supply shall have
automatic and continuous tuning of the output frequency to match the
resonant frequency of the tank. RF switching components shall be solid
state MOSFET's. The contractor shall provide installation at the NIST,
Gaithersburg, Maryland Site. Delivery is required within 90 days after
receipt of order/award. Requests for Quotation packages will be
