Is seeking to establish a Long term contractual relationship to provide various aviation structuralcomponents(FSC 1560) currently on backorder status at this Center to defense logistic agency(DLA) and its Federal customers. Contractors will be tasked with providing logistical support services, specifically to locate, facilitate source qualification, and supply to the Government the actual end item spares currently on backorder status. Through on line access of customer demands on backorder status, the contractor must develop a logistical supportsystem, a detailed procurement plan, and amanagerial system capable of supporting agencyrequirements. Dscr seeks Industries comments on a proposed draft Solicitation to accomplish this end. As a result of this request for proposal (RFP) the Government intends to make asingle award to satisfy Government requirements. All responsible sources capable of satisfying the Government requirements are invited to review this draft. The Government intends to holda presoliciation conference prior to issuance of the final Solicitation. This presolicitation conference will be advertised via CBD notice.
