It's anticipated that the contract period will not exceed 12 months. The proposed contract action is for services which will be performed at the Southern Maryland Wood Treatment Site, Hollywood, MD. The Contractor will be required to operate and maintain the systems on the Southern Maryland Wood Treatment Site, perform sampling and laboratory analyses and perform other work as necessary to meet groundwater remediation rates and discharge requirements. This procurement is set aside for small business concerns, and teaming arrangements are encouraged. The prime contractor of the team must be a small business and will be required to perform a minimum of 50% of the work over the life of the contract. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this procurement is 7349 with a size standard of $12,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 13 Aug 96. Bid opening is anticipated to be 30 days from the date of issuance of the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency.
