This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice- This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued--This solicitation is being issued as a SOLE SOURCE acquisition with XEROX Document University, a division of Xerox Corporation, Leesburg, Virginia, for accommodations and meals during a Training Exercise for the period of 9/15/96 through 10/18/96--Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 7013, will be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price contract--This solicitation is not a small business set-aside--The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-36 and 90-37--Contract line items are as follows: 1) Provide accommodations and meals for 35 individuals for 33 days; 2) Provide meals for 33 individuals speakers for one (1) day; 3) Provide photocopying, a facsimile machine, binding services, transparency services, and media equipment for students and instructions (as needed); 4) Provide a large conference room (capacity approximately 35 students); 5) Provide three (3) smaller break-out rooms (small instruction areas); 6) Provide a small office area (for instructor preparation); 7) Electrical power for computers and printers--The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and an original Standard Form 1449 (with original signature) with it's offer--The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquistion--The clause at FAR 52.212-5 is incorporated with the following optional clauses at paragraph (b) applicable: Sub-paragraph: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5)--Facsimiles of quotes will not be accepted--All proposals shall be submitted to the address listed above no later than 11:00 a.m., local time, 8/5/96--The right is reserved to determine certain information by request under the purview of the Freedom of Information Act--The point-of-contact for any information regarding this acquisition is Mr. Bruce J.
