The Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive request for quotations to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, coordination, supervision, installation of Government Firnished Equipment and transportation for a 24' long x 12' wide x 15' high heated weatherproof storage shed to house GFE wastewater recycling equipment, a 66' long x 25'wide canopy with at least 15' of vertical clearance, a 5 gallon per minute pressure washer, installation of Government Furnished RGF Waste Water Recycling equipment for complete operational capability certified by manufacturer. Project includes site preparation, excavation, trenching, paving, contrete work, piping and mechanical systems, heating and ventilation per GFE recommendation, exterior and interior electrical connections, system testing, balancing, miscellaneous other repairs, and certified operation by manufacturer of GFE wastewater recycling equipment, shop drawings, and as built drawings. A firm fixed price purchase order is planned with an expected period of performance of 90 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested organizations should respond in writing within 15 days of this notice. A site visit is tentatively scheduled to occur on 19 Aug 96. Contractor will complete the work in accordance with the Statement of Work available from Hanscom AFB, Construction Contracting.
