Synopsis - This work includes the provision of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the construction of a new gravel turn-around area for trucks, a new concrete access ramp with handrails, repair of existing concrete loading docks at Buildings 303 and 370, and a new dock addition at B-303. This work effort also includes the installation of two natural gas unit heaters, insulated coiling doors, demolition/removal of 32 ft. of railroad track, and waterproofing of the earth covered concrete walls/roof at B-303. B-303 is a smokeless magazine with three sides and top covered with soil. Waterproofing will require the removal of existing soil and VCP drainage pipe, clean/prep existing concrete walls, apply a rubber polymer coating covered with 1 inch rigid insulation, installation of a new 6 inch performated PVC pipe buried in a gravel drainage ditch around three sides of the building, backfill, seeding, and mulching as specified on the contract drawings and incidental related work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1629. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 120 days after award. Estimated value is between $100,000.00-$250,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is Unrestricted.
