In general, work will consist of the repair of Duck Pond Dam that includes the clearing and grubbing, excavation, removal of the existing riser, outlet pipe and outlet structure, construction of a new riser, outlet pipe and energy dissipation device and embankment fill. Additive Item #1 install riprap erosion protection, including geotextile filter fabric. Additive #2 Seeding of disturbed areas, Additive #3 Reconstruction of the boat ramp. The government shall provide riprap and fill material. Borrow locations will be determined at the preconstruction conference. Approximate distance to haul fill is 5 miles, approximate distance to haul riprap is 15 miles. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
