Noice of intent to place a delivery order under the terms and conditions of the follow-on GSA Schedule to the IBM FY96 GSA Schedule GS-35F-0001D. Delivery order is for the continued monthly license program support, including upgrades and multiple license programs; i.e., Basic and Distributed Systems License Option (DSLO). IBM software products are too numerous and varied to be listed herein. However, a complete listing of installed software is maintained in the contracting office and available for review. Contract period is 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. Software is installed on two (2) IBM Central Processing Units (IBM 9021-900, Group 80: and IBM 9021-580, Group 40), comprising the Triad Computer System (TRICOMS) which is located at Offutt AFB NE; and (1) IBM Communications Controller (3745-210/410). No contract award will be made on the basis of offers/proposals or other information received in response to this notice, since the synopsis of the intent to place a delivery order against a schedule contract cannot be considered a request for offers/proposals. Submit response in writing within 15 calendar days of this notice that clearly demonstrates capability to meet the delivery info. No responses are anticipated to this notice as software proprietary data rights are involved and conversion to another firm's software is cost prohibitive. See Note 22 (15 days in lieu of 45 days).
