It is the intention of the Western Area Power Administration, Golden, CO, to contract with Power Line Systems, Inc., 918 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI 53705, for 3-D digital elevation transmission line modeling software package, including structural analysis software, that integrates transmission line design, tower optimization spotting and plan and profile drawing generation. This software is proprietary/copyrighted patent with the above-mentioned company. The proposed contract action is for supply/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15-days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
