76 -- CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION CRITERIA BASE INFORMATION SYSTEM (CCB) Due 080196 POC Mr. Larry G. Edwards, Contracting Officer, 904 283-8661, or Mr. Oui Carroll, Contract Specialist, 904 283-8662 Annual Subscription to the Construction Criteria Base Information System (CCB) RFP F08637 96 R6018. The 325th Contracting Squadron, Specialized Flight, Tyndall AFB, Florida, intend to award sole source contract to the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) to provide 8500 one year subscriptions for Construction Criteria Base Information Systems. The scope of the action is to, by a single centralized acquisition, make the latest technical information, legislation, directives, policy standards, and criteria available to design and maintenance engineers at every major Air Force, Army and Navy installation and to appropriate contractors task to design and/or maintain Defense facilities. The CCB is a Compact Disc Read-Only Memory (CD-ROM) system containing texts of thousands of documents needed for the design and construction of buildings and civil works. The documents found on CCB are provided to the NIBS by federal agencies, professional societies, standards-writing organizations and code bodies. Included in the subscriptions are four quarterly editions, users manual, and telephone technical assistance.
