The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, will issue a consolidated solicitation for maintenance and repair of the Steris Sterilizer equipment for VA Medical Centers within VISN 8. Period of performance will be October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997 with three (3) one year renewal options. This will be a single award contract. Bidding material will be available August 15, 1996. All requests for solicitation documents must be received in writing and MUST BE received by the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. When requesting documents reference the IFB number and include the firm's name, point of contact, address and telephone number. Bid opening is September 17, 1996, 3:00 PM, EST. If no responses/requests are received from sources other than Steris Corporation, it is the intention of this VA Medical Center to sole source this requirement.
