(561)882-6521, or Donna Nelson, Contracting Officer (561) 882-6510 It is the intent of the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Ohmeda, 7750 The Bluffs, Austel, Georgia 30001, manufacturer for government owned anesthesia equipment, for the maintenance and repair of Ohmeda Anesthesia equipment at VA Medical Centers within VISN 8. Period of performance will be October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997 with three (3) one year renewal options. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source contract will be awarded. Responses indicating an interest in this acquisition must be received in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. If no responses are received by August 15, 1996 VA will proceed with sole source intentions. Interested parties must submit descriptive literature with their response proving their capability to respond to the requirements. All requests for additional information must be in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer, reference the IFB number, the firm's name, point of contact, address and telephone number.
