The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from qualified Buy-Indian firms to provide all drugs/pharmaceutical items for distribution to hospitals, health centers and tribally managed health clinics of the Phoenix and Tucson Area Indian Health Service. The Contractor will be required to furnish and maintain, at each site, equipment and necessary software for electronic order entry, a personal computer, modems and cables as required. Performance requirements include a 95% fill rate; (1) to (2) day delivery schedule (dependent upon facility location) Monday through Friday for routine orders; and delivery capability for emergencies (24 hours/day, 7 days/week). Period of performance will be for one year with two 1-year options to extend. Closing date for receipt of proposals is September 12, 1996, 4:30 p.m., local time.
