The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) has a requirement for a firm(s) to provide on-site computer programming services in support of its overall computer operations. The contractor(s) must have proven experience in providing computer/server software services in these areas: a) maintenance of computer applications in a VAX/VMS environment; b) development of new computer applications in a VAX/VMS environment; and c) transition of VAX/VMS applications to a client service environment; and development of client server applications. OTS envisions the positions likely require to staff this requirement as being those of Senior Computer Programmers and Senior Computer Systems Analyst, Database Specialists, LAN Specialist, and Technical writer. A Project Leader is also required. Contractor personnel must have recent experience in these areas: DEC VAX = VMS, VAX COBOL, Rdb (Relational Data Base), FMS (Forms Management System); Client Server = WIN95, WIN NT, Microsoft Office Professional 95, Visual Basic, ODBC, OLE, Powerbuilder and C++. User Support is also a requirement. This procurement is 100% set-aside for SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The base period of contract(s) will be January 1, 1997 through March 31, 1998, with three (3) 12 months each optional periods. More than one contract may be awarded under this requirement.
