The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and transportation necessary for the performance of laundry/dry-cleaning service in accordance with the Statement of Work. Laundry/dry-cleaning items will be picked up and delivered Monday through Friday at the Hospital at Holloman AFB NM. Contractor shall comply with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and the Linen Exchange System. The procedure will be by written quotation under simplified acquisition procedures. Requests for the solicitation will be due 15 days after publication of this notice. Request for Quotation will be issued on or about 19 Aug 96. Purchase Order will not be awarded until 01 Oct 96. Performance period will be 01 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The proposed acquisition is intended to be a 100% small business set-aside. If adequate interest is not received from small business concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
