The scope of the project includes the replacement of two (2) 450 ton capacity centrifugal chillers including attendant wiring, starters, disconnects, concrete pads, rigging, refrigerant, and piping modifications. The cost of long distance transportation of the existing stock of CFHF refrigerant to a remote site is to be included. Also included is the replacement of two (2) chilled water loop pumps and (1) condenser water pump. The project includes the provision of a refrigerant monitoring system and refrigerant pump down accessory system. The integrated part load value (IPLV) of the chillers shall be 0.61 kw/ton or better. An addition of the scope of work required, is the removal of an existing Halon suppression system; the Halon suppressant has already been removed. Project Bid Alternate #1; Provide chillers with an integrated part load value (IPLV) of 0.58 kw/ton. The site is located Cincinnati Processing & Distribution Facility, Bldg A, 1591 Dalton Ave, Hamilton County, Cincinnati OH 45234-9998. The project will be bid on the basis of a single prime contract. The estimated price range is between $450,000.00 and $600,000.00 with completion within 190 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled at the Cincinnati P&D facility, 1591 Dalton Ave Bldg `A', Cincinnati OH 45234-9998 @ 2:00 pm, August 15, 1996. Proposals are due by 4:00 pm on September 03, 1996. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 02, 1996 at a cost of $50.00 per set, non-refundable.
