The scope of the project includes the replacement of existing centrifugal chillers serving the Dayton OH Main Post Office. The existing chillers are 250 ton machines and utilize R11 refrigerant. The replacement chillers shall be 250 ton Rotary Screw chillers. The new chillers shall utilize R22 refrigerant. Rotary Screw chillers utilizing R134 refrigerant shall be bid as an alternate. Piping and central modifications will be required to incorporate the new chillers. The work is to be performed at the Processing & Distribution Facility, 1111 East 5th St, Dayton OH 45401-9997. The project will be bid on the basis of a single prime contract. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $350,000.00 with completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled at the facility, 1111 East 5th St, Room 307, Bldg A, Dayton OH @ 2:00 PM, August 15, 1996. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on September 03, 1996. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 02, 1996 at a cost of $45.00 per set, non-refundable.
