Additional lockers, new showers, new toilets, new HVAC system and new lighting are to be provided. Demolition including removal and disposal of asbestos is to be performed. Existing windows and miscellaneous HVAC equipment will be salvaged and turned over to the Government. New roofing, new skylights and new finishes are included. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 13 August 1996. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed. If your check is received less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a bid package.
