The US Army ARDEC is seeking sources for the manufacture and delivery of between 14,000 and 32,000 each, 120mm Tank Tactical Ammunition, M830A1 Cartridge, High Explosive, Anti-Tank, Multi-Purpose - Tracer (HEAT-MP-T), in accordance with a performance specification; TDPL #12912208 is available for reference only. Deliveries will begin eighteen (18) months after contract award. A sole source contract is anticipated for award in the third quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 97. Firms interested in participating in this production acquisition must submit a capability statement adequately describing past experience in 120mm munitions development, production, testing and systems contracting. Contractors must possess clearance at the level of SECRET to receive the informational TDP; firms must indicate in their response the level of clearance possessed. Responses shall be evaluated by the Government and shall be used to augment the Bidder's Mailing List. A Commerce Business Daily announcement will be issued prior to the release of the solicitation. Foreign firms will not be considered.
