Cooper, Contracting Officer, 304/285-4160 The U.S. Department of Energy's Morgantown Energy Technology Center intends to award a group of Basic Ordering Agreements for the subsequent competitive purchase of High Quality Fasteners. Anticipated requirements include: diameter sizes from 0.25'' to 2.00'' with length requirements 1.0 - 12.0 inches, all high strength fasteners, which must bear a manufacturer's insignia on each fastener. Material ranges are ASTM A449, A325, A354, A490, F593, A193 Grades B7, B8 B8M, C, F594 A197 Grade B7 & B8, F436 Type 1, F436 AISI 304 & 316. Certified material test reports shall be provided for all high strength fasteners ordered. Every washer, 1/4'' in diameter or greater, shall bear a manufacturer's insignia. Stainless steel washers shall also bear the fasteners' material of manufacture. All high strength fasteners shall be manufactured in the United States of America. There will be additional Quality Assurance Requirements that will be covered in the solicitation. This action will be processed under FAR Part 12 & 13.
