65 -- PATIENT TRANSFER/TRANSPORT SYSTEM SOL 554-58-96 DUE 082996 POC William Montoya, Contract Specialist, (303-393-2866) Contractor shall provide: 1. Patient transfer/transport system to allow for a patient to transfer from a bed without lifting, then allows the patient to be transported in a sitting or reclining position. Must convert from a chair to a horizontal position. Must allow for trendelenburg adjustments. Working surface must be stable enough to support CPR. Controls must independently adjust backrest, leg rest, foot rest and raise and lower the height. Controls must allow for patient to be laterally transferred across the surface of a bed or table without lifting. System must include 02 storage, side rails, hi-mobility casters with brake and steering control, lift controls on both sides, two sets of safety straps, IV pole that mounts on either side, 2. Patient tray that attaches to transfer/transport chair. 3. Patient head rest. Bid documents available o/a 08/05/96.
