A -- M113 ARMOR UPGRADE POC POC: Samuel Goodman (810) 574-6433 This is not a request for proposal, but a search for in formation on a possible requirement to upgrade the M113 armor by the survivability technology area of the tank-automotive research, development engineering Center (TARDEC). The system being sought would weigh NO more than 5000 lbs. And not increase the side-to-side dimension by more than 10'' on each side. There should be NO sensitivity to fuel fires, shock (drop test), or small arms fire. The protection level should meet or exceed the pro tection level of the Bradley kit (M2, M3). In addition to performance and dimensional data responses should in dicate availability and delivery schedules that can be met should an order be placed.
