notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6.

No. 79-01-6. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified
document: (a) Amendment to the National Chemicals Inspectorate's
Regulations with Respect to Exemptions from the Ban in the Ordinance
(1991:1289) on Certain Chlorinated Solvents; (1 page). (b) Charges -
Methylene Chloride, Trichloroethylene; (1 page). 6. Description of
content: Approximately 30 companies have been granted an exemption in
the individual case to use Methylene Chloride or Trichloroethylene
professionally after the year 1996. The National Chemicals Inspectorate
utilizes the possibility in Section 19 of the Act (1985:426) on
Chemical Products to levy a charge for these companies. The charge will
be decided in each individual case due to the following scale made to
pattern: The used amount: 0-0.5 tonnes: Annual charge per site: SKr
20,000. 0.5-2 tonnes: SKr 30,000. 2-5 tonnes: SKr 60,000. greater than
5 tonnes: SKr 100,000. 7. Objective and rationale: The charge is
assumed to offset the economic advantage that an exemption may entail.
