having the ability to provide a Comprehensive Sanction facility and
services for male and female Federal offenders. Interested offerors are
requested to give written notification (including telephone number and
a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice.
Services required include care, custody, control, accountability,
training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence
and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical,
prescriptions, and dental treatment. Three programmatic components will
be required (Pre-Release Component, Community Corrections Component and
Home Confinement Component). These components and services described
shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of
Work. Location of facility shall be in the Jackson, Mississippi area.
Estimated number of mandays is 20,440 (16,060 males and 4,380 females)
for the base period. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a August 29, 1996.
Estimated closing date is o/a October 29, 1996. Contract base period
is two years, with three one-year options. Estimated number of mandays
is 10,585 (8,395 males and 2,190 females) for option year one; 10,950
(8,395 males and 2,555 females) for option year two; and 12,045 (9,490
males and 2,555 females) for option year three to renew. A requirements
contract is anticipated. No collect calls will be accepted. No
