Q -- R-LICENSED HEALTH CONTRACT PHYSICIAN SOL DMA402-97-Q-0038 DUE 090996 POC Contact Karen Edgar, 314-260-1206/Contracting Officer, Paulette Martin, 314-260-1206 Service is for a Contract Physician to conduct physical examination, make medical suitability determinations; provide medical advisory services concerning employee problem cases; provide staff advisory service regarding occupational health and medicine and perform other general professional duties inherent to DMA Occupational Health Preventative medicine and Emergency Medical Programs. Part-time weekdays, 2-4 hours each morning. Must be fully licensed M.D. in State of Missouri: Certified by AMA, AAFP, or equivalent to include occupational health certificate. Familiar with F.E.C.A., DoD, OSHA rules, regulations and forms. Duties include treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses; on the job medical exams; administrate complete on-site preventative health screening program for hypertension, diabetes, pulmonary functions; special visual and stereoscopy testing and training, etc. Job includes interpretation of all testing (blood tests, EKGs, pulmonary function, etc.) done on-site or by contract. Must have special training or certification in low back care and treatment. No health/accident/malpractice insurance is provided by employer. No paid leave. Period of performance is 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997.
