Q -- LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE SERVICES SOL RFP 128-0210 DUE 091296 POC Curtis A. Courtney, Contracting Officer, (606) 253-8885. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Memphis, TN, has a requirement for two (2) State Licensed, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). The Contractor(s) shall provide assistance with medical intake screening, assist in maintaining patient records, assist with medical emergencies, as well as other duties inherent to this function. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the institution will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror(s) determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered. These other factors are Past Performance and Tecnical. Services will be required primarily during the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, but not exclusively, with an estimated 30 sessions (1 session = 1 hour) per week, per LPN, for an estimated 1,560 sessions per year, per LPN. The base year of the contract shall run for twelve months from date of award, with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. It is anticipated solicitations will be mailed approximately August 15, 1996, with an approximate due date of September 12, 1996. It is anticipated this will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer which may be conside award. No collect calls will be accepted.
