Courtney, Contracting Officer, (606) 253-8885. The Federal Bureau of
Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Memphis, TN, has a
requirement for a Licensed and Board Certified Urologist. The
contractor shall provide diagnostic and treatment recommendations of
programs in the field of Urology for the inmate patients referred by
Medical Staff, as well as all other inherent functions. Due to the
nature of this contract, all individuals working within the institution
will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a
competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror determined
to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors
considered. These other factors include Past Performance and Technical.
Services will be required primarily during the hours of 7:30 am and
4:00 pm weekdays, with an estimated 8 sessions (1 session = 1 hour) per
month, for a total estimated 96 sessions per year. The base year of the
contract shall run twelve months from date of award, with four (4) one
year option periods for renewal. It is anticipated solicitation
packages will be mailed approximately August 15, 1996, with an
estimated due date of September 12, 1996. It is anticipated this will
result in a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which may be conside award. No
