PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCT CLASSROOM FACILITY, PN: KKGA952030, For the North Dakota Air National Guard, Hector IAP, Fargo, North Dakota. The project consists of construction of a 2,400 square foot classroom facility to serve the Civil Engineering Regional Home Station Training Site. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and miscellaneous resources required to complete the work as shown on the project plans and detailed in the project specifications. The facility consists of a large, open, classroom space with adjacent bathrooms (men's and women's), mechanical room and small office space. Construction is masonry with concrete footings, foundation and floor slab and wood truss/asphalt shingle roof. A has-fired forced air furnace with associated ductwork, electrical and communications wiring and fixtures, finishes, cabinetry and casework, all appurtenant utilities and utility connections, specialty items, and minimal sitework are included in the construction. The project bidding documents will be tentatively available on 20 August 1996, with a tentative bid opening date of 20 September 1996. Performance period for this project is 120 days from receipt of the NTP (Notice to Proceed). Magnitude of this construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Specifications and drawings will be available at all area exchanges. All requests for the IFB should be received in this office by August 20, 1996. Bidders are informed that if they do not submit a bid, they should notify this office as to whether they want to receive future presolicitation notices. This IFB is being issued unrestricted.
