will include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment,
appliances, devices and materials, and performing all operations
necessary to complete the following: 1. Selective demolition or removal
of existing walls and partitions, doors, windows, interior finishes,
abandoned conveyors, mechanical equipment, ductwork or piping,
electrical fixtures and devices, site improvements and related items as
shown or indicated on drawings or a required to complete all work
required on this project. 2. Construction of Rooms 122, 128 thru 129,
141 and 142 including related and incidental work shown or indicated on
the drawings or required to complete all work required on this project.
3. Modification of existing Look-Out Gallery (LOG) to accommodate new
construction. 4. Completion of miscellaneous site work as shown or
indicated on the drawings including repair of all pavement damaged or
altered during construction operations. 5. Completion of all mechanical
and electrical work necessary to remove existing equipment or
components and to install new equipment and components in a fully
operational manner as shown or indicated on the drawings and as
required to complete the work of this project. The facility is located
at 1591 Dalton Ave., Bldg B, Hamilton County, Cincinnati, OH 45234.
This project will be bid on the basis of a single prime contract. The
existing Bulk Mail Entry Unit and the Process & Distribution Center
will remain in full operation throughout the contract period.
Construction will not start until January 15, 1997. The estimated price
range is between $400,000.00 and $600,000.00 with completion within 120
calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due
by 4:00 PM on September 04, 1996. Plans and specifications will be
available on or about August 05, 1996 at a cost of $50.00 per set,
