Perkins, Facilities Contract Specialist, 901/747-7628 The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the removal and proper disposal of existing heating, ventilating equipment and associated supports, piping and ductwork on the ground and first floor of the Truck Terminal Annex (TTA). The work shall include the installation of complete central air conditioning equipment and systems serving the ground and first floor of the TTA including rigging, suspended air handling equipment, roof mounted air cooled chillers, structural steel supports, ductwork, automatic temperature controls (ATC) and interface with the proposed electronic building automated control system. Also included in the work is the installation of a make-up air unit, pumps, piping and ductwork and installation of a supplemental steam to hot water heat exchanger and all electrical work associated with the HVAC work. An informal walk-through is scheduled for August 14, 1996, 8:00 a.m., convenining in Room 580 of the Processing & Distribution Center, 2970 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. Offerors must be experienced in mechanical work and primarily engaged in this line for a minimum of five (5) years, and who, in addition, shall have satisfactorily completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope. The estimated cost range is between $1,200,000.00 and $1,800,000.00 with completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $50.00 per set, nonrefundable. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
